History:

Chartered in 1951, the ACC became an affiliate of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, now the Union for Reform Judaism, in 1968. The American Conference of Cantors represents the Cantorate in the Reform Movement throughout the world, with a membership of over 450 cantors.
