Born in Philadelphia in 1873, Bacharach was a two-time mayor of Atlantic City, N.J. In 1911 he was elected mayor and served until 1920. In 1930 he was appointed mayor to fill an unexpired term, serving until 1935. Bacharach died in 1947. |
