The Sanford E. Rosen Papers consist of sermons and prayers written by Rabbi Rosen, the founding rabbi for two California synagogues. Many of the sermons were used for holiday services; the rest concern the balance of living a religious life in a secular world and include discussions of the commandments and the Pentateuch. Materials are arranged chronologically if a date for the sermon was indicated on the document and alphabetically for those undated documents that had a title. The span dates for the collection are 1945-1981.
